My Story
Hi, I’m Michael Rosato, and welcome to FunctionFit Exercise Physiology.
I believe movement is one of the most powerful tools for improving health, performance, recovery, and overall quality of life.
Before transitioning into Allied Health and becoming an Accredited Exercise Physiologist in 2021, I spent over 12 years working in the fitness industry as a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer. This experience shaped my approach to combining evidence-based exercise principles with practical, sustainable coaching strategies that work in the real world.
I created FunctionFit to provide an accessible space where individuals can receive personalised support, education, and guidance to improve their movement, health, recovery, and long-term wellbeing.
My approach combines Exercise Physiology with Natural Health practices, strength and conditioning, recovery, mobility, and holistic health principles to help clients build strong foundations that support long-term physical and mental wellbeing.
I focus on practical, individualised programming designed around sustainability, movement quality, recovery, and long-term results — without relying on extreme approaches, short-term fixes, or unnecessary complexity.
